Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Ella Robertson

Ella is a Fishers' High School student and will attend Indiana Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Humanities in the fall for her junior and senior high school years. In school, she is part of her school's tutoring club that tutors junior high students, is in the Model United Nations club, and is part of the speech and debate team. Outside of school, Ella has been a youth volunteer at conner prairie for over six years, giving her experience and a love of teaching and working with younger children. While she used to not enjoy math, it has become one of her favorite subjects in the past two years, and she cannot wait to help other students uncover their love for it.

Emma Riddle

Emma is a Senior at Fishers High School and is planning on attending college with a major in business/economics. She began officially tutoring in early Junior year through the French National Honors Society program. She is a very school-oriented person who takes IB-level classes ranging from IB Film Studies to IB Math A&I as she enjoys the arts as much as a complicated equation. She loves the positive environment Mathnasium creates and the growth it produces in kids.

Polina Nix

Polina, a junior at University High School, enjoys studying math and science! Her favorite subject is chemistry, and in her free time, Polina likes to so cheerleading and cross country. When she’s not at school, Polina loves to play with her dog and bake for her family.

SeArre Abebe

SeArre (Suh-Ah-Ray) graduated from Purdue University in 2023 with a degree in Biology. Despite his passion for Biology, he loves the applications mathematics offers and the clear connection from the basics to high level math like Calculus. SeArre wants to help students appreciate what math has to offer and step away from the “inconvenience” mindset students often have towards math. His teaching aptitude resulted from both being a mentor for historically underrepresented first years and a teaching assistant at Purdue. In his free time, he likes to be with family and friends, code in Python to make fun games, and watch documentaries covering various STEM disciplines.

Skylar White

Skylar is excited to be a part of the team at Mathnasium, allowing her the opportunity to share her love of math with others. She began her educational journey with six years of Montessori training, where the concrete-to-abstract approach to math ignited her curiosity for mathematical concepts. Skylar has been homeschooled since 2018, and she also takes some outside classes a few days a week. After she graduates high school in May of 2026, she plans to study Biomedical Engineering. Skylar is an avid reader, she loves listening to music and watching movies, she enjoys playing piano and guitar, and she cherishes spending time with her family and friends.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
