Brenda is a UC Santa Cruz graduate with a degree in Cognitive Science. She is passionate about helping students grow in confidence as their math skills develop and works to understand each student’s unique learning needs. Brenda also values building strong connections with families and fostering a sense of community. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys cats, nature, and culinary exploration.
Jadelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Cruz. Her love for science and mathematics began early, and she believes that mastering foundational skills builds the confidence needed to understand abstract concepts.
As a student, she found joy in the challenge of problem solving. Now, as a Mathnasium instructor, she helps students unlock their potential and make sense of complex math topics. She welcomes the challenge of teaching struggling learners and finds it deeply rewarding to see them succeed and grow more confident.
Angie began her career in Silicon Valley, consulting for internet and software startups in marketing, operations, and funding strategy. She has actively contributed to multiple startup communities and volunteered for various professional organizations. She earned her MBA in Management Information Systems from SUNY Albany on a full scholarship.
In 2013, Angie opened her first Mathnasium center in San Mateo. Today, she and her team operate several centers in the Bay Area and Seattle. Angie and her husband, Paul, are raising three young math enthusiasts while helping students grow their confidence and skills in math.
Elyse joined Mathnasium in May 2025 and has always loved math as one of her favorite subjects in school. She enjoys seeing students grow in confidence and develop their skills throughout the program. In her free time, Elyse loves escape rooms and brings her passion for puzzles into teaching students problem-solving and critical thinking.
