The entrance exam is a CogAt Test. The CogAT measures three different cognitive abilities. It is a gifted screening test used by many school districts to qualify students for their gifted and talented programs. Preparation is not everything but we can provide an excellent idea of what is coming during the admission Exam so the unexpected is not a factor in being part of this competition.

• The verbal section measures a child’s ability to remember and transform English word sequences, understand them, and make inferences and judgments about them.
• The quantitative section measures a child’s understanding of basic quantitative concepts and relationships.
• The non-verbal section measures reasoning using pictures and geometric shapes. This section reduces the impact of language on the student’s score.
• The composite score is the total score for all three batteries.

This program is delivered for 4 consecutive weeks, in person, during 4 sessions of 2 1/2 hours each. We provide guidance and familiarity with the test. Students will work on CogAT practice questions that are similar to what the actual test will be. There is no make-up of sessions or change groups. Students will receive any missing material.

Terms and conditions: Refunds will be issued until two weeks before your group's start date minus $190 admin fees. No refunds within two weeks of your group's start date. No makeup dates for missing sessions or Practice tests.
