Joshua Shew
Center Director
Originally from Tokyo, Joshua brings a global perspective and seven years of tutoring experience to Mathnasium of Fresh Pond. He holds a Computer Science degree from Case Western Reserve University. Joshua believes questions are an instructors's most powerful tool, they help students think independently and show instructors exactly where each learner stands. His goal is making math intuitive rather than intimidating through genuine care for every student. When not at the center, Joshua enjoys running, racket sports, and solving puzzles. He lives in Somerville with his wife.
Scott Reding
