Mr. Alex


Mr. Alan

Lead Instructor
Mr. Alan is one of the current instructors of our Mathnasium Teaching Team. He is a junior at the University of Houston, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After graduation, Mr. Alan plans to pursue a job in the medical field. Mr. Alan is eager to work and always looking to help the Mathnasium team! On his free time he enjoys playing video games, cooking, and playing with his dog Jack.

Ms. Stacey

Ms. Stacey is one of our current instructors at Mathnasium. She is in her last year as a pre-med student at the University of Houston. Stacey is working towards her ultimate dream goal of becoming a Dermatologist. Stacey is a focused student and excels at math and science courses. Her hobbies outside of work are going to the gym, watching anime, and trying new foods!

Mr. Lamis

Mr. Lamis is a student at the University of Houston and is pursuing a degree in Finance. One of his favorite math concepts to teach is Algebra! One fun fact about Mr. Lamis, is that he was a previous student at Mathnasium many years ago. As an instructor he enjoys working with students and is happy to have the opportunity to teach students the Mathnasium methods that helped him as a child. In his free time Mr. Lamis enjoys studying the stock market, reading and spending time with his friends and family.

Mr. Leighton

Mr. Leighton is a current instructor at Mathnasium of Friendswood. He is a graduate of the Pearland High School class of 2024. Mr. Leighton plans to attend an out-of-state University to study veterinary medicine or pursue a career in nursing/biology. His hobbies involve video games, art, and nature exploration.

Ms. Noor

Ms. Noor is one of our current instructors at Mathnasium of Friendswood. She is presently a student the University of Houston. Noor is a dedicated student who volunteers at a hospital on a regular basis. Noor enjoys her free time reading, socializing with her friends, and experiencing new dishes.

Mr. Erik

Erik is a graduate from Full Sail University with a Bachelor's in Game Design. Erik is working toward becoming a business owner specializing in game design. Erik is also a military veteran with a goal-directed mindset and is a diligent worker. His hobbies when he is not working is playing video games and working on model kits.

Mr. Ashray

Mr. Ashray is a current instructor at Friendswood Mathnasium. He is a sophomore at Friendswood High School. His long-term goal is to attend the Air Force Academy. His career aspirations include being an astronaut and an aerospace engineer. He enjoys going to the gym and running on the track. Ashray received honors in both of his Engineering EOC's. Math is one of his favorite subjects. In high school, he excelled in his classes and was named student counselor three years in a row.

Ms. Joshlyn


Mr. Matthew

Mr. Matthew is a current instructor at Mathnasium of Friendswood. He graduated from Friendswood High School and is currently studying at San Jacinto Community College. He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Matthew is a diligent worker who enjoys assisting others. His favorite pastime is playing video games and watching informative and amusing videos/shows.
