Mathnasium of Frisco's personalized math test prep programs are designed to help students at every level feel confident and prepared on exam day.
Following personalized learning plans, our tutors help PreK-12 students master the concepts behind every upcoming quiz, unit test, and final exam. From elementary math through Precalculus and beyond, we target the exact skills each student needs so that classroom exams become an opportunity to demonstrate what they truly know.
We align instruction with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) to prepare students for the math portions of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR). By identifying each student's knowledge gaps and building understanding level by level, we help students approach their state assessment with the skills and confidence needed to meet and exceed grade-level expectations.
Our specially trained tutors prepare high school students for the math sections of the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT® using proprietary test prep materials and personalized learning plans. We focus on building lasting content knowledge and exam-ready problem-solving strategies, so students see real score improvement on test day and beyond.
At Mathnasium of Frisco, our specially trained math tutors help PreK-12 students prepare for any math exam, from classroom quizzes and state assessments to college admissions tests like the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT®.
We work with students in a caring and fun group environment, providing personalized, face-to-face instruction that focuses on genuine understanding. Our tutors pinpoint each student's knowledge gaps, introduce concepts in a logical sequence, and guide them steadily forward so they feel prepared and capable when exam day arrives.
We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines assessment-based personalized learning plans with proven interactive techniques to build the mathematical understanding students need to perform well on any exam.
Rather than drilling test-taking tactics, our tutors help students truly grasp the concepts they'll be tested on. Paired with proprietary test prep materials, this approach develops the problem-solving skills and confidence that lead to meaningful, lasting improvement.
Students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us pinpoint their current skill level, knowledge gaps, and exam goals. Using these insights, we design a personalized learning plan that targets exactly what each student needs to work on.
Tutors follow each plan closely, reinforcing understanding and introducing new material gradually. As students build skills and fill knowledge gaps, their confidence grows alongside their readiness, so they arrive at their exam prepared to do their best.

At Mathnasium of Frisco, building consistent math understanding is the foundation of all exam readiness, from classroom quizzes and the STAAR assessment to college admissions tests like the SAT® and ACT® for older students.
Every student begins with a diagnostic assessment so we can pinpoint exactly where they are and where the gaps are. From there, we build a personalized learning plan that strengthens skills session by session, no cramming required.
Our specially trained tutors support students across all K–12 math levels, from elementary math through Precalculus and beyond, connecting what students are learning in class with the deeper understanding they need to perform well on quizzes, midterms, and finals. As an exam approaches, we can shift instruction to target the specific topics and concepts it will cover, so your student walks in prepared and confident.
Yes! Mathnasium of Frisco prepares students for the math portions of the STAAR assessment.
Our tutors understand the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) the exam reflects, ensuring students have a solid grasp of the grade-level concepts they'll encounter on test day. We use a diagnostic assessment to identify where each student needs support and build a personalized learning plan that targets the skills they need to meet and exceed grade-level expectations.
The sooner, the better. Because the STAAR assessment measures the math skills students develop over the course of the school year, consistent preparation throughout the year is far more effective than a rushed approach before the test.
We encourage families to reach out at the start of the school year so we have time to address any foundational gaps and build grade-level skills. If your student's exam is approaching sooner, contact us and we'll develop a focused plan around the time available.
Yes! Mathnasium of Frisco prepares high school students for the math sections of the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT®.
Our specially trained tutors use proprietary test prep materials and personalized learning plans to build the content knowledge and problem-solving strategies students need to perform their best on test day. Whether your student is taking the exam for the first time or looking to improve their score, we tailor preparation to their current skill level and target goals.
Earlier is always better, and we generally recommend beginning at least three to six months before the exam date.
College admissions math tests cover a broad range of topics, from algebra and data analysis to geometry and, on the ACT®, trigonometry. Students who begin preparation early have time to work through knowledge gaps, practice exam-style problems, and develop the confidence that comes from sustained practice.
For students with significant foundational gaps, starting in middle school or early high school gives them the best possible footing heading into test prep. If the exam is coming up sooner, reach out to Mathnasium of Frisco and we'll build a focused plan around your student's timeline.
Math test prep at Mathnasium of Frisco is offered as part of a flat monthly membership fee. Pricing depends on your student's individual learning plan and session schedule.
For specific pricing information, please contact our center directly. We're happy to walk you through the options and find a plan that fits your student's goals and your family's needs.
The number of sessions depends on your student's current skill level, the exam they're preparing for, and how much time is available before test day.
As a general guide, most students preparing for a major exam such as the SAT®, PSAT®, or ACT® attend two sessions per week over three to six months. For state assessments or classroom exams, the timeline may be shorter, depending on the student's starting point and goals.
After the diagnostic assessment, we'll have a clear picture of what your student needs and can recommend a session schedule that gives them the best chance of success.
Yes! Students can join live, face-to-face online sessions with our specially trained Frisco tutors and follow the same personalized learning plan as they would in the center.
