Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Lauren

Director of Training

Lauren holds an Interdisciplinary Studies degree from the University of Central Florida with concentrations in Mathematics Education and Psychology. Her coursework included College Algebra through Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics. Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, she has gained extensive experience supporting students and training instructors.

She believes math should be challenging yet enjoyable, never intimidating. Lauren is passionate about helping students overcome obstacles, celebrate success, and build lasting confidence. She takes pride in inspiring students to develop a genuine love for mathematics.

Ryan

Center Director

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Tarleton State University. During his time in college, he was involved in first-year programs that supported incoming freshmen as they transitioned to university life.

Ryan brings a wealth of retail management experience from his previous role as a Starbucks store manager, where he developed strong leadership and mentoring skills. He joined Mathnasium to help others—and himself—grow in their math journey while supporting students as they build confidence and strengthen their problem-solving skills.

When he’s not working, Ryan enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his dog, family, and friends.

Denzel

Associate Center Director

Denzel earned his BA in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has experience working as a tutor and education coordinator, helping students build confidence and strengthen their academic skills. He is also a freelance digital illustrator who enjoys combining creativity with problem-solving.

Denzel joined Mathnasium because he believes strong foundational knowledge is key to helping students succeed as they move on to more challenging topics. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and challenging himself to draw a world map from memory. He also has 31 digits of pi memorized.

Our Mathnasium Mission
