PTA STEM + Families Math Grant

Once again, Mathnasium is Putting the "M" in STEM Education!

The 2018 National PTA STEM + Families Math Grants sponsored by Mathnasium will soon be awarding local PTAs $1,000 to host one STEM + Families Math event with students and families at their Elementary School between October 1, 2018 and January 31, 2019.

On a local level and in partnership with The National PTA, we will be providing the awardees with all of the materials, training and day-of support necessary for a successful STEM + Families Math event at YOUR child's school! 

What Are Math Nights You Ask? 

• Events that Involve families in a fun, enjoyable shared math experience
• They're co-hosted by PTAs and Mathnasium in schools across the country
• Turn-key: Mathnasium provides all games and materials for easy execution
• Offered in support of National PTA's STEM + Families Initiative
• They help kids explore math at their own levels through games and activities
• They empower kids of all backgrounds to become interested in STEM education and careers

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be a PTA in good standing, as determined by the State PTA
• Commit to engaging parents and guardians with student learning activities
• Welcome local Mathnasium and/or National PTA staff to your event to provide the math expertise
• Have at least 15 volunteers to assist with event
• Submit evaluation results to National PTA after the event

Completed applications must be submitted online by August 26, 2018 at 8:00pm EST/5:00pmPST for consideration. Awardees will be notified by September 28, 2018.
