Stefanie is the passionate and dedicated Center Director at Mathnasium, where she brings her diverse professional background and deep love for children to create a thriving, fun, and engaging learning environment. She studied Business Administration and Data Analysis at Liberty University, combining her analytical skills with a heart for service and education.
Before joining Mathnasium, Stefanie built a unique career journey that spanned across retail management at Walt Disney World, luxury sales in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, and the high-end markets of Aspen, Colorado. These experiences shaped her exceptional leadership, communication, and customer service skills, all of which she now uses to support students, parents, and her team every day. Her top priority is ensuring that every student not only learns and thrives but also genuinely enjoys their experience with math. Stefanie believes that with the right support and encouragement, every child can unlock their full potential and develop a lasting confidence in mathematics.
Marcy was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and subsequently obtained two master's degrees: one in Elementary Education and another in Administrative Education Leadership, which included a Principal Licensure. Her extensive teaching career spans 24 years in middle school classrooms across New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Following her time in the classroom, Marcy served as a principal for 11 years. In 2020, she relocated to Jacksonville and has been a valued member of the Mathnasium team since 2022. She enjoys helping students discover the "magic" of math, and secretly loves seeing the occasional lightbulb moment go off – it's way more fun than grading papers!
Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College.
Jodi has been teaching for 20 years and has taught all levels from 8th grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes that every student can succeed and excel with the proper tools and support.
Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused on Mathematics Education and Psychology. She has mastered math skills in the areas of College Algebra, Calculus I – Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics I & II.
Lauren developed a passion for math education during her first two years of high school, and it continued throughout her college years. She believes that math is meant to be challenging and enjoyable, not frustrating and scary. Since starting at Mathnasium in 2011, she has enjoyed the continued success of her students and inspiring them to love math as much as she does.
