Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and has been with Mathnasium since 2014. He has experience teaching math from foundational skills through advanced topics like Statistics and Calculus. Dan also serves on the Mathnasium Franchise Advisory Committee, helping guide company-wide decisions.
He believes greatness exists in every student and that learning must be active and engaging. His mission is to create a center culture where questions are encouraged, and every child receives the personalized support they need to succeed in math and beyond.
Our instructor team share a passion for teaching math and inspiring confidence in every student. Instructors go through a careful selection process that includes interviews, math proficiency tests, background checks, and comprehensive training in the Mathnasium Method. This ensures they not only know math well but can also explain it clearly to students from elementary through high school.
Our team includes current university students, recent graduates, and experienced educators who love helping children succeed. Whether students are catching up, keeping up, or moving ahead, Germantown instructors provide encouragement, structure, and fun, creating a meaningful learning experience.
Delaney grew up in Germantown, attending Houston High School before earning dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Philosophy from the University of Memphis. He later pursued graduate studies in English, training to teach college-level language arts. His strong background in education eventually led him to Mathnasium, where he discovered a deep appreciation for teaching mathematics.
Since becoming Center Director of Mathnasium of Germantown in 2021, Delaney has focused on helping students overcome challenges and build confidence. He is especially passionate about preparing younger learners for future opportunities in technology and engineering.
