Stoyko holds a BS in Math and Economics from Hamilton College and a master’s in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina. He is a retired Actuary.
"I liked my 9th grade math teacher at Wethersfield HS because she was always excited to teach us!"
Braedon has an BS in Mathematics/Statistics; he is currently a graduate student in Economics.
"In 5th grade at Naubuc Elementary we calculated how much tinfoil we would need to completely tinfoil my math eachers room!"
Katelyn is currently an undergrad in Mechanical Engineering.
"The earlier you get in the habit of showing your work, the easier math will become."
Maggie has an BS in Sociology and Statistical & Actuarial Math; she is currently a graduate student in Social Work.
"My favorite math memory is studying for the AP Calculus exam at the OB Diner in Pt. Pleasant, NJ!"
Adam is currently a Challenge and Enrichment teacher for the Hebron School System; he has a Masters in Elementary Education.
"I was very lucky to have an exceptional 8th grade math teacher who showed us that math can be fun. She used a lot of real world examples, and that got me more interested in math."
Ken has a BS is Mechanical Engineering, and is a retired Sales Engineer.
"My greatest academic achievement was unlocking all of the levels in Fast Math (online math quiz game) at Hebron elementary school."
Andrew has a BS in Astrophysics and a Masters in Engineering Science. He is currently a STEM tutor for the Glastonbury School System.
"I've never regretted learning more math."
Luke recently graduated with his BS in Applied Mathematical Science and Economics.
"The cool thing about math is that it is kind of the only universal language - no matter what you do you'll carry the language with you. Best thing we can do for ourselves is get good at it - the earlier the better!"
Kenneth is currently a Senior Structures Engineer, he has a BS in Aeronautical Engineering.
"One of my favorite math classes in high school was my freshman year Algebra 2 class at GHS!"
Maanav is currently in his Senior year at Glastonbury High School.
"My pre-calc teacher at GHS once debated the best burger toppings for 30 minutes!"
Carina is currently in her Senior year at Glastonbury High School.
