Evette has been with Mathnasium since 2015 and is passionate about helping students experience those lightbulb “Oh, I get it!” moments. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to each student’s math journey.
Her leadership fosters a caring and fun group environment where students grow in both confidence and skill. Outside the center, Evette enjoys traveling and playing video games.
Andrew graduated from UC Davis with a major in Environmental Engineering. With a strong analytical background and a passion for problem solving, he brings patience and clarity to his math instruction.
He finds it especially rewarding to see students build confidence in their abilities and enjoys the overall impact and fulfillment that education provides. In his free time, Andrew enjoys endurance sports such as cycling, marathon running, and long hikes.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from UCLA and brings a strong academic background and calm presence to the Mathnasium team. He enjoys playing piano and chess, and values the friendly, supportive relationships between students and instructors.
He is committed to helping students not only improve their math skills but also feel confident and motivated.
Anahit is currently studying Architecture at Pasadena City College. With a passion for creativity and design, she brings an artistic touch and patience to her math instruction.
She loves the welcoming environment at Mathnasium and enjoys supporting students as they grow more confident in their math abilities. In her free time, Anahit enjoys baking, making art, and spending time with loved ones.
Brendan is currently attending Occidental College, where he is majoring in Computer Science. With a strong foundation in problem solving and analytical thinking, he enjoys building meaningful connections with students while improving their math skills.
Brendan finds it especially rewarding to help kids grow more confident in their abilities. In his free time, he enjoys practicing mixed martial arts, backpacking, cooking, and playing chess.
Leo currently attends CSUN, where he is pursuing a degree in Computer Science. He is passionate about fitness, fashion, real estate, and software development, and enjoys exploring how these interests intersect with creativity and innovation.
Leo loves how Mathnasium empowers kids to approach math with confidence and a positive attitude, helping them build skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
Emily is currently attending Clark Magnet, where she is pursuing advancement in biology and history. With a strong passion for learning, she brings enthusiasm, teamwork, and care to her math instruction.
She loves the collaborative environment at Mathnasium and enjoys helping students better understand their material. In her free time, Emily enjoys watching soccer, playing video games, photography, and gardening.
Sophia attends John Burroughs High School and has a strong foundation for both math and art. Her hobbies include painting, drawing, and sculpting, which reflect her creativity and attention to detail.
She loves helping kids understand new concepts and finds the experience incredibly rewarding as they build confidence and grow their skills.
Zuhair is currently attending Clark Magnet, where he is pursuing advancement in physics and calculus. With a strong interest in analytical thinking and problem solving, he brings enthusiasm, patience, and positivity to his math instruction.
He loves the collaborative environment at Mathnasium and especially enjoys interacting with the students, who can be incredibly funny. In his free time, Zuhair enjoys playing video games and going for walks.
