Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Samantha is a senior at Glenbard South. She is currently taking AP Statistics and has studied up to Calculus II. Next year she will be attending Duke University to study biomedical engineering. She has been on the math team since 7th grade and enjoys tutoring others in her favorite subject! Aside from math, Samantha is involved in choir, volleyball, and swimming. She began teaching at Mathnasium in November of 2021. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know each student individually and seeing their progress each week. Samantha hopes to continue tutoring and sharing her love of math at Mathnasium and in college!

David is currently a senior at Glenbard West taking Calculus BC. He is excited to attend college in the fall but has not chosen a college yet. He is planning to major in computer engineering or math. David has always had a passion for teaching math, he enjoys helping his friends at school with their math challenges. David’s favorite thing about math is that there are formulas and rules for every problem that he can learn, understand and apply. Over the years David has learned that, with practice, math can be as easy as π (pi). He is excited to work with others on math skills so they can be successful and learn to love math like he does.

Marin has been working at Mathnasium since the summer of 2022, and she has loved getting to know all of the students as she works with them. She plans to keep working here as long as she can, until she leave for college in a few years. Apart from Mathnasium, Marin keeps busy by participating in things like her school’s math team, lots of different clubs, cross country, and track. In her free time, she also likes to read, bake, and spend time with her friends and four younger brothers.

Lauren is a high school senior at Wheaton Warrenville South and has been an instructor at Mathnasium since April if 2022. She is currently taking statistics and took calculus BC last year. Lauren is a member of the math team and varsity cheer team at her school. She puts her cheerleading skills and love for kids to good use through volunteering as a junior coach for the middle school Wheaton Rams cheer team. Lauren helped lead the Wheaton Rams to 2nd place at the 2022 state competition! Lauren takes great pride in the success of both her athletes and students at Mathnasium. She enjoys getting to know each kid and watching them problem solve. Lauren hopes to share her love for math with each kid she teaches at Mathnasium.
