Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Mike

Instructor

Mike is a former High School Mathematics teacher and a current full-time actuary for a national pet insurance company. In his current role, he applies his mathematical skills to analyze statistics in order to model future events and determine expected costs. His passion for mathematics education (not to mention getting him out from in front of his work computer) brings him to Mathnasium to assist our students.

Mike is very proud of his daughter, a Data Analyst in Washington, D.C., and his son, a Mechanical Engineer in Rochester, NY. He enjoys history (particularly the Civil War), traveling domestically and internationally with his wife of 30 years, playing tennis and pickleball, and any type of math or word puzzle. He starts each day with Wordle.
