Kellie Gayton is the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Goshen and Mathnasium of Monroe. She has an extensive background in teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Statistics at Newburgh Free Academy for 17 years. Prior to teaching, Kellie spent 6 years in corporate retail analyzing market trends and reporting sales. Mrs. Gayton holds a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching from Mount Saint Mary College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Elmira College. In her free time, Kellie enjoys gardening, crafting and spending time with her husband and three daughters. Mrs. Gayton has a strong belief that all students can succeed in math. She is excited to see the Mathnasium Method increase children's confidence and decrease frustration. Kellie is proud to bring the first math-only learning center to Orange County, NY.

Assistant Center Director
Sean is a professional tutor from Warwick, NY, and has his BA in Mathematics from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, NY. He enjoys long walks with Meshu (his dog), playing with Meshu, playing different video games, and last but not least, hanging out with Meshu. While in school, Sean was active in many theater productions including those with the Warwick Valley High School Drama Club and the Riverdale Repertory Company. He also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 45 based out of Warwick. Sean's passion for math has brought him to Mathnasium so that he can help as many students as possible get through their math classes and help them better understand how fun working with numbers can really be! And finally, just remember that not all math puns are terrible! Just sum of them are!

Entela is a dedicated tutor with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic success. With 10+ years of experience in tutoring, Entela has worked with students from 5th grade to college levels. Having completed a bachelor’s in mathematics and a Master of Science in Education, Entela possesses a solid foundation in subjects of tutoring, including Arithmetics, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus, and more. She is from Chester and speaks Albanian and Greek fluently. Outside work, Entela enjoys traveling and swimming. Her favorite number is “magic” 9 because if you multiply a number by 9 and add all the digits of the new number together, the sum will always add up to 9.

Lindsey is currently an honor student at Valley Central High school. She has been inducted into the Business Honor Society as well as the Tri-M music honor society. Outside of school and work, Lindsey enjoys dancing, as well as singing and acting. She is part of the Senior Dance Company at Thrive Studio in Goshen, NY and has been dedicated to dance since she was young. Her favorite number is 5 since she was born on May 5th and has five members in her family. Her favorite math joke is: I saw my math teacher with a piece of graph paper yesterday. She must be plotting something! After Lindsey graduates high school she plans to pursue a career in business, like her parents. Lindsey loves Mathnasium because it helps kids feel confident in their own skills and guides children to success. She believes that every kid deserves an education where they can learn without feeling pressured to keep up.

Laurie graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.S. in Computer Science/Minor in Mathematics. Laurie has worked over the years as an Associate Applications Engineer at General Electric Astrospace, a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin Astronautics, and presently works as a Senior Tax Analyst at H&R Block. Laurie's mathematical expertise combined with her love for kids, makes her the perfect Mathnasium instructor!!

Bella graduated from Minisink Valley High School in 2021. She is continuing her academics at Mount Saint Mary’s College in Newburgh. Bella is pursuing a degree in Mathematics with a psychology minor. In May of 2025, she will be certified in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2), Childhood Education (1-6), and Special Education(1-6). Aside from college, Bella is work driven. She has volunteered at Otisville Elementary since sixth grade. She started subbing as a teacher/teacher’s aide at Otisville Elementary in December of 2022. She also works at Blueberry Mountain, an ice cream shop, in the summer. Bella joined the Mathnasium team in December of 2023. She enjoys working with the students and helps them to realize that math isn’t so bad!

Taylor is a senior at VCHS who will be attending University of Rhode Island in the fall. Taylor plans to pursue a degree in Communicative Disorders and a career as a Speech Language Pathologist. Taylor enjoys working with young children and brings her patient, kind, fun tutoring skill set to Mathnasium!

Daniel graduated from Monticello High School in 2022 Summa Cum Laude. He is currently at SUNY New Paltz studying Music Education and plans on being a music teacher. In his free time he enjoys playing piano and composing jazz and classical music. He also loves spending time with his family, including his 3 fuzzy cats and dog, and his college's Christian club. He joined the team at the beginning of 2024 and he enjoys helping students build their confidence in math. He believes the most important things in life are God, family, and the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Brandon graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a B.A. in Biology and currently works as a Reactor Room Chemist. Brandon comes to Mathnasium of Goshen with previous experience as a Mathnasium instructor. During his time working as an instructor he utilized positive reinforcement techniques to encourage and motivate students, assessed student progress at each session, and mastered the Mathnasium Method to increase student learning. Brandon's STEM based experience combined with his passion for teaching, makes him and awesome addition to our team!

Elaina is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at SUNY New Paltz and will be NYS certified in Early Childhood Education (Birth-6) this December. Elaina has worked closely with students in 3rd and 6th grade as she completed her fieldwork and student teaching. She loves connecting with kids and seeing them thrive in the Mathnasium setting.
