Many kids completely lose interest in a specific subject based on their performance in that class. Students today focus more on grades rather than the process of learning. We need to change this so that both aspects of schooling are important in a child’s life. That’s what Mathnasium aims to do, and being that it’s Back to School time, we are ready to help you do just that!

School year hours now in effect:
Monday – Thursday 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday CLOSED
Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Let’s Celebrate Our Students!

Noah (5th grade)
Performing well with problem solving, Noah finds he is able to look at problems in different ways and can work them out step by step. Noah is always doing an awesome job with mental math and number sense! With math skills shooting through the roof since starting at Mathnasium, we look forward to seeing exactly how far Noah will go! Great job!

Kendall (1st grade)
Kendall has made great strides in her first few months at Mathnasium. Entering 1st grade, she should be more than ready to add doubles, find missing addends, count by 5s and 10s, and find number combinations. While showing great improvement with subtraction and missing subtrahends, Kendall has also astounded us with her ability to find half of odd numbers! Undoubtedly, we love working with Kendall and have total confidence that she'll keep improving!

Joey (8th grade)
Since starting at Mathnasium, Joey has shown a ton of improvement. His speed and efficiency go up with every problem he does! Recently he mastered adding and subtracting positive and negative integers. Because he works very hard every time he comes into the center, Joey is setting a great example for all the other students!

Ben (7th grade)
Ben is a great student, who is very fun to work with! While his attitude is always positive, Ben rubs off on other people around him. Lately Ben has seen success with divisibility. This topic can be very frustrating for many students, but Ben stuck with it, and is now close to mastery! Becoming a Mathlete Level 2 seems to be close on the horizon for Ben as well! Nice work, Ben!

Ashley (College bound)
Before starting college this year, Ashley opted to come to Mathnasium this summer to brush up on her Algebra skills. Consequently, she has mastered solving and graphing linear equations and inequalities. Ashley recently mastered matrix multiplication! While working very independently, Ashley has made it through a lot of material in the few months she has been here!

Our Mathnasium students never cease to amaze us! Stay tuned for the next Mathnasium Newsflash to celebrate more math power lifters with us!
