Olive holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Old Dominion University and has been with Mathnasium for two years. With over five years of experience working in arts education camps and after-school programs, Olive brings creativity, warmth, and structure to every learning session.
They love introducing students to big-picture math ideas, like the Hilbert Hotel paradox and the concept of infinity. Outside the center, Olive enjoys reading and collecting unique and antique copies of Little Women.
Heather has a background in technology, marketing, and IT management. Math has been one of her favorite subjects and she uses math all the time in her hobbies with woodworking, 3D modeling, and creating new things. She likes to think of math like the movie Mean Girls - "It's the same in every language!"
Miranda has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Old Dominion University and has been part of the Mathnasium team for three years. She enjoys teaching Trigonometry and has a soft spot for right triangles.
Outside of work, Miranda is a collector of the Hannah Swenson baking mystery series by Joanne Fluke!
Stephanie has been helping students at Mathnasium for nearly 15 years. She specializes in working with younger learners, especially on foundational topics like multiplication, fractions, and regrouping.
Originally from New York City, Stephanie brings a patient, supportive teaching style that helps students build confidence and grow their math skills step by step.
William earned his BSEE from Purdue University and later an MBA from the University of Houston. After a 35-year career in the computer industry, he now enjoys helping students develop a love for math through logic and problem-solving.
His favorite topics are logic puzzles, and he brings joy and meaning to every student interaction. When he’s not teaching, William enjoys crossword puzzles, solitaire, and sharing his curiosity with others.
