Liam Bruen is the Owner of Mathnasium of Green Bay. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and spent 20 years flying F-14 and F-18 fighters in the U.S. Navy. After retiring, he worked as a Production Test Pilot and discovered Mathnasium through his own children.
Liam was drawn to the Mathnasium Method™ for its ability to make math make sense. He’s proud to help children in the Green Bay community build confidence through math and enjoys spending time with his three kids.
Matthew Terry is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Green Bay. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and began at Mathnasium as an instructor before stepping into leadership.
Matthew is passionate about creating a caring and fun group environment where students feel encouraged to grow. His goal is to ensure every student receives personalized instruction that deepens understanding and builds confidence. He’s proud to help young learners develop the skills they need for lasting math success.
Hannah is an Assistant Center Director and a student at UW-Green Bay, studying Electrical Engineering. She brings a creative spirit to Mathnasium and enjoys drawing, painting, and solving puzzles.
Hannah loves helping students discover how math can be enjoyable and accessible. She believes in building strong relationships with learners and encouraging them to take pride in their progress. Her favorite part about Mathnasium is seeing students grow more confident as they master new math skills.
Tyler is a Lead Instructor currently studying at St. Norbert College. He plans to become a U.S. Army officer and brings focus, discipline, and enthusiasm to every math session.
Tyler enjoys using mental math to help students sharpen their problem-solving abilities. He loves showing students how math connects to real life and makes complex ideas easier to understand. Outside of Mathnasium, he enjoys music, biking, and tabletop games.
Madison is a student at De Pere High School with a passion for math and a goal of becoming a kinesiologist. She enjoys reading, writing, and playing piano in her free time.
Madison values the relationships she’s built with students during her time at Mathnasium. She finds joy in helping students grow more confident in math and believes every learner can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement.

Best Thing About Mathnasium: As a long-time fan of mathematics (“math geek”!) and advocate for math education I love to see the energy and enthusiasm for math from both instructors and students at Mathnasium. I didn’t always see that in school and it’s great to see it here!

Best Thing About Mathnasium: It’s a welcoming, no-stress environment where kids gain confidence in themselves and their abilities while strengthening their math skills and understanding. The kids are very productive and like to work towards getting snacks and prizes. It’s a place of positivity and encouragement where kids learn, have fun, and even look forward to their next session.
