Kevin Nguyen is the owner at Mathnasium of Greenhaven. He earned his MA in Education at the University of the Pacific and his BS in Biomedical Engineer at UC Davis. He was a high school teacher with Elk Grove Unified School District. He has taught and tutored children of all ages for more than 10 years. Kevin was a principal assistant of an elementary school with Sac City Unified School District. Now Kevin is fully committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community.
Anh Thu Nguyen is the owner at Mathnasium of Greenhaven. She earned her BA in Mathematics at California State University, Sacramento. She is a high school math teacher with Elk Grove Unified School District. She has taught and tutored children of all ages for more than 10 years, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community.
Audrey is currently a student at Sacramento State. She enjoys swimming, reading, and shopping. She has been swimming competitively since 9 years old, competing in high qualifying meets such as Junior Olympics, Far Westerns, and State Championships. Working at Mathnasium, she enjoys being able to positively impact students' lives by helping them through the challenges of math, exceeding their knowledge, and accelerating them through challenging math problems, as well as helping them with their math homework.
Quynh is a college student at UC Davis. Though she says she's not good at math, Quynh still challenges herself with high-level math classes at her college. At Mathnasium, Quynh hopes students can have a comfortable environment to enjoy and solve math problems.
Hi, my name is Isaiah. I am a second-year Mechanical/ Aerospace student at Cosumnes River College, and I hope to pursue a career in drafting and design in the future. I’ve always loved math, which is why I’m excited to help students at Mathnasium discover their own passion for it. In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
Grace is a student at Cosumnes River College. She has been competitively swimming for 9 years. She loves hanging out with her friends and making memories with them. Her goal at Mathnasium is to help young students be the best they can be at math!
Pailen is currently a senior in High School. He has always enjoyed math and competes in math competitions for his school. He has experience instructing a wide range of students. He looks forward to helping students improve their math skills and gain a deeper understanding of mathematics.
Ameen has a deep-rooted passion for mathematics and finds joy in helping students understand its beauty. With a flair for making complex concepts accessible, Ameen is committed to creating a love for math in every student. Outside Mathnasium, Ameen leads the Byte Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding education in third-world countries. When not teaching, Ameen enjoys kickboxing, programming, and weightlifting. These hobbies reflect Ameen's diligence to both mental and physical growth, always aspiring for balance and merit.
Anna is a senior at CBHS. Her favorite class is biology and she hopes to help others understand math and make it a little less scary.
Hi, my name is Katie Nguyen! I’m a recent graduate from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Applied Mathematics. My goal right now is to explore different career directions, develop new skills, and see where my strengths can make the biggest difference. Outside of work, I enjoy fitness and weightlifting, reading, and going to concerts or listening to live music!
Mike has a deep love for math in all its forms and enjoys sharing that passion with students. Alongside teaching part-time at Mathnasium, Mike loves to code and develop apps and games. His long-term goal is to run his own software business, combining his technical background with his creativity.

Hi! My name is Elson and I’m a third year at UC Davis. I’m currently majoring in Mathematics with a Statistics minor. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym and playing sports with my friends. Also, I started learning piano when I was four years old and played competitively as well.

Hi, I'm Elliot. I'm currently a sophomore taking classes online at Boise State University, and I recently moved down to Sacramento back in October! I love teaching and I've taught music the last 2 years. Outside of work, I like to play basketball and play the drums.
My name is Christian, and I'm an undergrad student at Sacramento State with plans to major in statistics. I've always had an interest in numbers and data, as well as an interest in teaching math, which dates back to my senior year of high school when I got a spring tutoring job which I loved. My goals are to earn a master's down the line and get into a career involving data science. My hobbies include playing games and watching sports (primarily football and baseball).
Hello, I’m David Kenepp. I recently finished my PhD in math at UC Davis and I would like to get a position as a college instructor in the Sacramento area starting next school year. I ultimately would like to facilitate programs that help high school students or younger reach their full potential in STEM so they can be successful in college and beyond. I enjoy hiking and visiting national parks, Point Reyes has been a common destination for me the past few years, especially since you can catch the occasional whale sighting.
Hi, my name is Enzo! I am currently a student at West Campus High School, and I hope to pursue mathematics in college. I’m currently working on my associates in Math through dual-enrollment, which I hope to complete by the time I graduate. Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar and piano, hiking with friends, and exercising!
Hi, my name is Justin and I am a new instructor at Mathnasium. I have a passion for mathematics and I am also studying math in college to one day become a math professor. Some of my hobbies include video games, math, and basketball. I am very happy to be a new part of the community!
Hi I’m Ethan! I attended Cosumnes River College for several years and tutored math both in the classroom and in the Math Center prior to transferring to UC Berkeley in 2023. I majored in Astrophysics and Statistics at UC Berkeley and am planning on attending UC Davis to get my Master’s in Education and a teaching credential in math next year to teach high school and middle school math. Outside of math and school I’ve been a competitive archer for about 6 years and also enjoy reading and fiber arts such as crochet and cross stitch.
