Q: Why did you choose to own a Mathnasium center? A: I have loved teaching math for the past 30 years and hope to continue doing it for another 30! I feel it has been my calling.
Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A: Henderson has great families and great kiddos to teach. We have amazing schools to support and the best community anywhere.
Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: We have tried to be a powerful partner with our schools and community since we opened in 2013. We are always happy to be involved in any and all school and community events
Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: I loved math from the time I was very young, but it wasn't always easy for me. I learned most of my math by teaching it. Being able to simply talk about math with others is what really sparked a passion for it.
Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: It would have allowed me to see math the way I needed to see it. I would have been more confident and creative with math. I would have had a deeper understanding and appreciation for it at an earlier age.
Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in Green Valley? A: We have great restaurants, great parks for picnics or hiking, great venues for concerts and, of course, the Golden Knights, the Raiders, and the Aviators!"
