Dawn Sheriff is the Owner & Managing Director for the area Mathnasium Centers. With 25+ years in education, Dawn has teaching experience ranging from preschool through high school. Dawn is passionate about helping children and believes early intervention can help every child succeed. She has a Master's degree from the University of South Carolina and a BA in Secondary Education from Clemson University. Watching her own children struggle in both private and public programs has shaped her feelings about education. Dawn is excited about the opportunity to help every child in the Greenville community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. She has taught and tutored children of all ages, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the Greenville area.
Naomi was trained at Mathnasium of Plantation in Florida. Her experience and superior customer support service are a welcome addition to our centers! Her favorite thing about the math is the logic and certainty of it. As one of our assistant center directors, she manages the instructors and oversees student progress. She believes that partnering with parents to help move students forward is both an honor and a calling. We are so thankful to have her on our team!
Harrison formerly worked for Mathnasium of Tuskawilla in Florida. He's lived in Colorado while studying culinary arts and now finds himself in Greenville for coursework at Furman University to prepare him for medical school. He's fun and really knows how to make complicated math simple for our students! He is a welcome presence to our Augusta Rd center. He especially enjoys working with our high school students for SAT and ACT prep.
Adele is a senior at Greenville Tech Charter High School. She does a lot of volunteer work with the Ronald McDonald House and stays busy with lots of other projects outside of our center. Adele is excellent at math and has a big heart. She teaches online and at both of our locations.
Saliou is originally from the Ivory Coast where he received his undergraduate degree in mathematics. (So he's also fluent in French!) He has his Master's Degree from the University of Arkansas. When he's not working in our centers, he is teaching freshman statistic courses at Clemson University while pursuing a PhD and also spending time with his family. He and his wife have 3 children, so he's busy, but not too busy to teach math with us! What a fabulous addition to our team!
