Robin is the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Happy Valley. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Small Business Entrepreneurship from Sonoma State University. After successfully running two businesses, Robin turned her focus toward education, inspired by her own childhood struggles with math.
She’s passionate about helping children truly understand math in a way that makes sense to them, building their confidence and opening doors for future success. Outside of Mathnasium, Robin enjoys biking, hiking, and exploring with her husband and two children.
Arthur is an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, pursuing a Bachelor of International Economics. He uses math to analyze complex global and macroeconomic trends.
Since joining Mathnasium of Happy Valley in 2019, Arthur has taught dozens of students and helped pioneer the center’s @Home program. He loves teaching math and hopes to pursue a career in finance.
Kimberley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Washington State University and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Western Washington University. She has been teaching and tutoring math at the college level since 1989.
Known for her creativity, Kimberley often uses humor, sometimes even donning a purple wig or juggling erasers, to make math fun and memorable. Outside of teaching, she enjoys playing dodgeball, spending time with her cats, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
Caleb is currently a marketing student at Portland State University. Graduating from Damascus Christian School as his class's valedictorian, he flew through every math course offered at his school, completing Calculus I as a mere junior. He uses math to navigate the digital marketing world, using analytics and metrics to maximize his reach and optimize his success.
Outside of the Center, he enjoys playing sports, hiking, creating faith-based content on social media, and getting involved in his beloved church community. Through these interests, he is able to motivate and build personal relationships with students who share them.
Jeff taught for 41 years before retiring in 2020, including 31 years in elementary and middle schools and 10 years at Concordia University. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education and has taught across Indiana, Washington, and Oregon.
He joined Mathnasium of Happy Valley in 2020 and loves helping students build confidence in math. Outside the center, Jeff enjoys gardening, hiking, and officiating high school basketball games with his wife, Marilyn.
