My name is Emily, and I’ve loved math for as long as I can remember. In high school, I challenged myself by taking BC Calculus at American Fork High School, and my passion for problem solving has only grown since then. I graduated from Snow College in May 2025 and was thrilled to return to Mathnasium, where I can combine my love for math with my passion for teaching.
I truly enjoy helping students not only understand the material but also learn to think like mathematicians, approaching problems with curiosity, confidence, and creativity. Watching students gain confidence and discover that math can be both fun and rewarding is one of the best parts of my job.
I’m a junior at Lone Peak High School, and I love helping students discover just how fun and exciting learning can be. I’ve always enjoyed math, but geometry is definitely my favorite, it’s like solving puzzles with shapes and logic!
Tutoring gives me the chance to share that passion and help others feel more confident in their abilities. Outside of Mathnasium, you’ll usually find me reading a great book or performing in musicals, which is another one of my favorite ways to express myself. I’m excited to be part of each student’s learning journey and to make math something they can truly enjoy!
Litea is a junior at Mountain Ridge High School with a passion for both math and mentoring. She loves building connections with her students and finds it especially rewarding to watch their confidence grow as they develop new skills and achieve their goals.
Outside of Mathnasium, Litea is a competitive dancer and an avid football fan (Go Ravens!). Her energy, positivity, and passion for learning help create an encouraging environment where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to succeed in math.
I’ve been part of the Mathnasium team for some time now, and I absolutely love what I do. Helping students build confidence and truly understand math, in ways that make sense to them, is something I’m deeply passionate about.
As a current high school student with plans to pursue college soon, I’m excited to keep expanding my knowledge and sharing my love for math along the way. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student go from confused to confident, and I’m here to make math not just easier, but something to genuinely enjoy.
Math hasn’t always been my favorite subject, but after becoming a student at Mathnasium, I discovered how rewarding and enjoyable it can be. Now, I love math and enjoy helping students build their skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
Outside of Mathnasium, you’ll often find me playing video games, spending time with family, or enjoying the outdoors. I’m also a big martial arts fan and love playing all kinds of games with friends and family. Whether I’m solving equations or scoring points, I bring energy and enthusiasm to everything I do, and I’m excited to help students develop that same excitement and confidence in math!
