Liesl Roberts
Center Director
I have taken all of the math classes up to Calc 3. Two of my favorite classes were College Algebra and Statistics for Math and Engineering Students. Both classes made me realize how much math is used in the "real world". I also was the president of my college newspaper. I grew up playing sports and still love to play volleyball. Recently, I've been learning pickleball and really enjoy it. A recent accomplishment of mine was reading 100 books before the end of the calendar year. I have 10 years of math teaching experience. In college I was a TA for the math department and spent most of my time in math labs for Math 950-1010. I also was a student athlete tutor for math and science. A couple of students that I tutored ended up playing for the Broncos! I also participated in student teaching a high school math class and taught math and science in a 5th/6th grade special education classroom. I have an 8 year old dog and we like to hike and go for long walks. In the summer, I like to go boating and spend time with family at Lake Powell. I also enjoy reading and traveling to concerts around the country.
Fun Fact: I unironically like the song Old Town Road.
Favorite Number: 72. It was the number on the end of my first email address ever.
Education: I moved around a lot in college for work so I attended several different colleges and universities. Most recently, I attended Utah State University with a mathematics emphasis. Go Aggies!
Why I love Mathnasium: I like helping people feel more confident in their math skills. Math is FUN. I promise.

Yes, our students can attend Mathnasium at our center or log into live, face-to-face sessions with their tutor.
Each student is given a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints their strengths, knowledge gaps, and unique goals, so that we can create a personalized learning plan that will put them on the best path to math mastery.
We empower students of all skill levels to excel in math, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey.
We work with advanced students to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential. At Mathnasium, advanced students can explore the topics beyond their school’s math curriculum and receive personalized support to achieve their unique academic goals.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.
We use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, so they're able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.
No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
