Hixson Elementary Gets a Grant!

Last week, we were thrilled to award a Mathnasium Grant to Ms Myer's first grade class. She plans to use the gift to purchase manipulatives and games for her classroom. Ms Myer, like Mathnasium, believes that manipulatives can help students visualize concepts that are often difficult to understand at a young age. Hixson Center Director Mark and our mascot Ace stopped by to deliver the check and bring cupcakes to class to celebrate!
