Last week, CSAS welcomed us as we hosted a Math Night for their elementary school students! Assisted by volunteering teachers and parents, we showed students and parents alike that math can be fun.
Students learned how to do domino math, tried to crack the penny-hop maze, found the hidden secrets contained in pi. On top of all that, two students teamed up make the longest pi chain I've ever seen (where each color of paper reflects a different digit of pi) and several huge games of math bingo were played.
Mathnasium loves hosting these events at our local schools, so keep an eye out for when we visit your school next!
