My name is Robbie Hedden and I am a recent graduate of Samford University. I love problem solving and have a specialty in Calculus. I've always had a heart for mission work and working with kids, so Mathnasium has been a great opportunity for me to spread knowledge to students and help them build confidence in their skills.
My name is Travis Kirchem and I am a senior at UAB for Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, and playing chess. I also enjoy learning new concepts in math and teaching it to others. Math is an exciting subject and even though it is important in our world, learning it can be an fun adventure worth pursuing.
Hello, my name is Samuel Pool, and I am a graduate of UAB with a bachelors in Computer and Information Sciences. During the daytime I am a software developer, and in the evenings I very much enjoy also working with the team at Mathnasium. I've always enjoyed math, and I love seeing that spark of sudden understanding in a child's mind when they learn something new. It is very rewarding to me if I'm able to help a student correct an issue in their problem solving and get stronger at math. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, swimming, and the outdoors.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
Are you interested in changing lives through math? We're looking for outstanding individuals with a high level of commitment who are passionate about teaching math. Find out if there's a Mathnasium position that's just right for you!
