Hello, my name is Samuel Pool, and I am a graduate of UAB with a bachelors in Computer and Information Sciences. During the daytime I am a software developer, and in the evenings I very much enjoy also working with the team at Mathnasium. I've always enjoyed math, and I love seeing that spark of sudden understanding in a child's mind when they learn something new. It is very rewarding to me if I'm able to help a student correct an issue in their problem solving and get stronger at math. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, swimming, and the outdoors.
My name is Laura Sellers. I currently work full-time in banking and have a background in event management. I’ve always had a strong understanding of math, and I love seeing it come alive in so many real-life applications. I enjoy making math approachable and helping students build confidence in their skills. I grew up in the Oak Mountain school system and graduated from the University of Alabama with degrees in Marketing and French. In my free time, I like to read, watch sports and cooking shows, and spend time with family, friends, and my pets.
