Prabhav Gudapati

I joined Mathnasium because Mathnasium has given me the ability to make a positive impact on students. Mathnasium has given me the opportunity to share my passion for math to other students, allowing them to improve their knowledge and confidence in math. I enjoy working at Mathnasium as I am able to work with other like-minded instructors, giving us the ability to make a positive impact on all students.

Jana Huffstetler

Instructor

Hello! I'm Jana, and I'm proud to be an instructor here at Mathnasium. I'm currently in college aiming to go into counseling. Math has become one of my favorite subjects over the years. In middle school, I had a really bad year with math, and I thought I didn't like it. The next year, I got to retake that same math with a teacher that put her heart into making it understandable, and that's where my love for it stems from. I love puzzles and problem-solving, and that's what math feels like to me. I want to understand how it works and how I can make it less intimidating to take on.

That's why I like being an instructor here. Math isn't easy, but that makes it all the more rewarding when you figure out how it works. It's a joy to see that same understanding light up a student's face, especially with a subject they may have a harder time understanding. Math doesn't have to be the bane of a student's existence. Sometimes, they just need a different approach to learning it.

Prisha Regmi

Joshua Haxton

Instructor
Josh brings 18 years of high school teaching experience to his role at Mathnasium. In addition to his career as an English teacher, Josh has also tutored math at Midlands Technical College. He understands what it is like to struggle with math, but also how empowering breakthroughs can be; he came to understand and appreciate math in a new way under the guidance of an excellent Calculus teacher at Dutch Fork High School.

Josh is excited to work once again with math students. He enjoys helping them view their studies from a new perspective and understands that all learning is interconnected. He looks forward to continuing his role as an educator who empowers students by building confidence and problem-solving skills.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
