Kristen is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Jersey City. She is passionate about helping students excel in math and enjoys building a welcoming environment where learning can flourish. Kristen is committed to providing a personalized learning experience that helps every child build confidence and succeed in school.
She looks forward to welcoming families into the Mathnasium community and supporting students through tutoring, enrichment, or homework help. Kristen and her team are excited to show how math can make sense and be fun for every student.
Gretchen is the Associate Center Director at Mathnasium of Jersey City. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University and worked as a private high school math teacher in Hawaii before relocating to New Jersey in 2024.
With a love for education and a strong foundation in math instruction, Gretchen brings warmth and structure to the center. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, visiting museums, and watching Broadway shows, always finding new ways to connect learning with life.
Jodi is the Director of Education at Mathnasium and brings over 20 years of experience in the classroom. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Math from Hope College, a master’s degree in Math Education, and a specialist degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College.
Jodi has taught a wide range of math courses, from 8th grade to IB math, and is a certified gifted instructor. She believes every student can succeed with the right support and enjoys watching students feel proud when a tough concept finally clicks.
Lauren is the Director of Training at Mathnasium and a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida. She earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Mathematics Education and Psychology and has advanced skills in algebra, calculus, differential equations, and statistics.
Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, Lauren has been committed to making math both challenging and enjoyable. She finds joy in watching students grow more confident and strives to inspire a love of learning in every student she teaches.
