How is Mathnasium of Kendall providing a safe and healthy environment?

Aug 20, 2020 | Kendall

We know there is still a great deal of uncertainty regarding the upcoming academic school year. Many schools in our Kendall community are using distance learning or a hybrid approach. At Mathnasium of Kendall, here are the things we are certain of:

1. We are open! Our team of math experts is delivering instruction both in our Kendall center AND online. Your child’s well-being is our top priority. Among our many updated in-center health and safety procedures, we:

  • disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly
  • limit the number of students to follow social distancing guidelines
  • require EVERYONE to wear a mask and sanitize their hands

Of course, students will continue to have the option to learn via video-conference with Mathnasium@home… whichever works best for your family.

2. We are here to help. As always, we help your child achieve their math goals! (getting ahead in math? filling in knowledge gaps? preparing for standardized tests?)

3. We will continue to assess your child. We know that every child is unique and requires a customized learning plan. We regularly assess your child to benchmark progress and adjust their learning plan as needed.

4. We communicate. We provide regular progress reports by phone and email - we want to share with you the results of your child’s hard work! We are also happy to schedule an in-person or video-conference conversation.

5. We make math make sense. We go at your child’s pace to ensure they are understanding math instead of just memorizing methods and answers. We teach using visual, tactile, aural, didactic, and Socratic techniques. We build mathematical thinking skills to create confident problem-solvers!

Self-schedule an assessment for your child today either in our Kendall center - OR - on our video-conference platform.
