Angie Yuan
Owner/Managing Director
Angie Yuan is the Owner and Managing Director of multiple Mathnasium centers across the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle Area. She began her career in Silicon Valley, consulting for startups on marketing, operations, and funding strategies. Angie holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from SUNY Albany, where she received a full scholarship.
Since opening her first Mathnasium center in 2013, Angie has remained committed to helping students strengthen their skills, confidence, and love of math. Outside of work, she and her husband Paul enjoy raising their three young “mathletes” and supporting local families in achieving academic success.
Jadelyn San Juan
General Manager
Jadelyn San Juan serves as General Manager and brings a strong academic background in science and math to the team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Cruz, where she discovered the value of foundational skills in mastering abstract concepts. Jadelyn views math as a cycle of learning, confidence, application, and retention—and takes joy in helping students find that rhythm.
She finds working with struggling students both a challenge and a privilege, using each moment as a chance to boost their confidence and build lasting understanding. Her goal is to empower and inspire.
Brooks Franklin
Administrative Assistant
Brooks Franklin joined Mathnasium in 2018 as an instructor and quickly rose to the role of Administrative Assistant. Originally from La Quinta, California, Brooks brings a background in retail and tech repair, and he has found a unique calling in educational operations.
He’s especially passionate about streamlining processes, analyzing session data, and making day-to-day operations more efficient for the entire team. Brooks is proud of the behind-the-scenes work he does to support students and instructors alike. His favorite part of the job is knowing that his contributions help Mathnasium run smoothly and make a tangible difference in student success.
Bryan Vo
Administrative Assistant
Bryan Vo studied Economics at the University of Southern California, but his true passion lies in education and literature. Now an Administrative Assistant at Mathnasium, Bryan loves working alongside a dedicated team and supporting classroom moderators. He’s particularly interested in finding gaps in student understanding and helping close them with insight and care.
For Bryan, there’s no better reward than seeing a student’s assessment score improve—it means something clicked. He believes that real progress is made not just by identifying what’s wrong, but by exploring why and how it happened, making each student’s journey toward confidence all the more meaningful.
