  Mathnasium of Kyle is located in the HEB Plus Shopping Center, next to Inta Juice and the UPS Store. Our convenient location makes it easy for families throughout Kyle, Buda, and the surrounding communities to attend sessions consistently.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Kyle?

  Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current skill level, identify learning gaps, and learn more about their goals. These insights allow us to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Kyle, we don’t use a fixed curriculum. Instead, we apply the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that blends structure with personalization. 

  Building upon what the student already knows, we add new concepts gradually, breaking them down into manageable steps to help them fill in their knowledge gaps, develop solid foundational skills, and even transform how they think and feel about math.

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes. We work with students at all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey. 

  Students who are struggling with math receive individualized support to build confidence and reinforce core skills. Advanced learners benefit from enrichment opportunities that challenge them to think deeper and go further in math.

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Kyle and Buda?

  Yes. We support homeschooled students in grades K–12, as well as those attending public and private schools across Kyle, Buda, and the surrounding areas.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes. Our tutors set aside time during each session to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the material they are covering in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning takes place during sessions with our specially trained tutors. We do not assign homework—our focus is on helping students make consistent progress in the center or online.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes. We help students prepare for standardized and school-based math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep includes personalized learning plans, targeted review, and effective strategies that build both skill and confidence.

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes. Mathnasium of Kyle offers both in-center and online tutoring. Our students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment—whether they attend sessions in person or online.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No. Online students receive the same quality instruction, personalized learning plans, and caring support they would experience in our center. Both formats offer live, face-to-face instruction in a collaborative group setting.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Kyle?

  No. The cost is the same whether students attend online, in person, or through a hybrid schedule.
