Welcome to Mathnasium of La Crescenta

Mathnasium has given my child the confidence he needs to do math and perform on his topic tests. Ms. Leisel and the Highlands Ranch staff have been very supportive through every step! Most importantly, our child has fun!

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for quite some years. The leadership shown from the team is extraordinary. Not only has she improved in math, but has also taught her to have the confidence in explaining problem solving aloud. For that, I am foreever greaful.

Having math taught on such a personal level and tailored to the type of learning of that individual is amazing. My daughter is very shy and has a hard time in social environments at times and every time she walks in there can't wait to see their faces especially Loretta and Liam! 🤗

Mathnasium has inspired a love of Math for my son. He is now making A’s, has confidence, and excited to learn. The team at Cedar Hill is wonderful and Ms. Tenequa does an excellent job at running this location efficiently. She is accommodating, knowledgeable, has a positive attitude, and greets everyone with a smile. It’s worth every penny and more!!

I don’t appreciate staff telling me child needs to get more sleep. She goes to school and is allowed to be tired after school.

We are attending this program in a consistently, 2-3x / week and it’s helped increase confidence and capability in our 2nd grader!

My daughter is in 9th grade and has always struggled with math and it has impacted her confidence in this area. We tried Sylvan previously but did not see an improvement in her understanding. We decided to try Mathnasium and immediately noticed an improvement in her understanding and her grades. She enjoys the instructors she has worked with and looks forward (as do I) to continuing with her sessions at Mathnasium.

Altadena branch is great, my daughters math grade and knowledge have increased and she is much more confident in her math skills. She is now one of the top math students in her grade.

We have been using Mathnasium as a supplement while homeschooling and it has been very helpful in making sure our son is getting a solid math foundation. I would recommend to anyone looking for short term help in a particular math topic, or for the student who needs extra math support long term because what they’re getting at home or school isn’t quite enough to get them where they may want to go, either now or in the long term. I really consider it an investment. (As in, he may not care for math so much now but will appreciate this time spent later.) Austin is a terrific manager and we’ve had good experiences with the team.

We think Mathnasium is the best decision we’ve made! Our son is enjoying it while learning, it’s helped him and our entire family this school year.
