Emily is a multi-tasker who handles the ebb and flow of the center, while signing in our in-center and @home students for their sessions. She also answers the phone, greets our Mathletes and parents, along with keeping the reward cabinet fully stocked and more. Emily’s favorite Sanrio character is Hangyodon!
Jean-Raphael majored in Math and Aerospace Engineering while attending Penn State University. While there, he led study sessions and assisted with math and engineering classes. As Lead @Home Instructor, Jean-Raphael helps with daily operations along with being a mentor to Instructors while ensuring the Mathnasium Method is being implemented. His patient and calming demeanor is an asset while working with our Mathletes and communicating with our parents. He has a passion for languages and is fluent in French while learning Italian.
David is a retired Seminole County Public School Elementary Gifted Teacher, who enjoys working with students of all ages. Mathnasium keeps him busy several days a week, as he works with our mathletes on their foundational skills. In addition to his days at Mathnasium, David also has passion for playing the violin and exploring central Florida parks.
Lauren graduated from Stetson University with a B.S. degree in Bio-Chemistry. She has always excelled in math and science. As Lead Instructor, Lauren helps with daily operations along with being a mentor to Instructors while ensuring the Mathnasium Method is being implemented. Her attention to detail and positive attitude is very motivating to her students and keeps everyone on task. Lauren is always excited to talk about theme parks and dinosaurs.
Michael has always had a passion for math and helping young people. He has worked with Odyssey of the Mind and continues to volunteer in local classrooms in his free time. Michael enjoys helping the Lyman High School math department. As an Instructor Michael dedicates his time to working with each student on their individual level. Fun Fact! Michael has previously lived in California!
Zanders is someone who embraces his life and is constantly working to improve himself. As a Mathnasium Instructor he is always looking for ways to help students succeed and have fun while doing so. Zanders has lived in several different countries and has a passion for life.
