Amanda has a BS in Elementary Education from Oakland University, and holds a professional teaching certificate for the state of Michigan. Before opening Mathnasium, Amanda had a very rewarding career as an elementary school teacher, teaching both fourth and fifth grade students in all curricular areas. Amanda is excited to bring Mathnasium to the community of Lake Orion and help children build a strong math foundation in a way that makes sense to them!
Emily is a Freshman at Oakland Community College planning to pursue a degree in engineering. She enjoys crocheting, video games, and playing with her cats. Her favorite part about working at Mathnasium is giving kids a safe and happy environment to practice their math skills.
Alyssa is currently a junior in high school. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and baking. Her favorite part about working at Mathnasium is meeting new people and sharing her love of math with them.
Charles is a Michigan State graduate. He recently graduated with a major in game design, and a minor in business. He enjoys watching Lions and Pistons games, as well as playing sports and designing video games. His favorite part about working at Mathnasium is getting to see his work have a lasting impact on students.
