Nick Dawit

Center Director
In 2022, Nick began his journey at Mathnasium as an Instructor. Having taken on the roles of Education Coordinator and Assistant Center Director, Nick now serves the Lake Ridge community of students and families as Center Director. By using his skills gained through his time as a Mathematics Major and as a Mathnasium Instructor, he works to foster mathematical confidence in his students, increase their comfort with mathematical concepts, and, most of all, make math fun! Beyond his professional and academic life, Nick likes to travel, write, go camping, and attend concerts.

Education Coordinator
Coming to the Mathnasium team with experience in math education administration and tutoring, John started as an Instructor before taking on the mantle of Education Coordinator. He studied Mathematics and History at Vanderbilt University before transferring to George Mason University to finish his undergraduate degree. Mathnasium appealed to John because we provide “not only a place to learn mathematics but also a place to improve math confidence.” Outside of Mathnasium, John enjoys video games, woodworking, and music. He also has three cats, whom he loves dearly!
