Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and has been with Mathnasium since 2014. During this time, he has taught everything from foundational math to advanced topics such as Statistics and Calculus. He also serves on the Mathnasium Franchise Advisory Committee, helping guide the company’s direction at the national level.
He believes no child learns best in a passive environment and that greatness exists in every student. Dan is dedicated to fostering a culture where curiosity, questions, and individual care lead to confidence and success in STEM fields.
The Mathnasium of Lakewood Ranch instructor team is dedicated to making math clear, approachable, and fun for every student. Each instructor goes through a thorough interview, math assessment, and background check before receiving extensive training in the Mathnasium Method™, ensuring they can both understand and effectively teach mathematical concepts.
Our team is made up of University of South Florida students, New College students, recent graduates, and experienced math educators. Whether a student is advanced, on level, or catching up, our instructors provide personalized support that builds confidence and lasting success in math.
David brings a strong background in teaching Anatomy and Physiology, where he developed a passion for breaking down complex concepts into clear, structured, and approachable lessons. Through his experience in education, he learned how to adjust explanations to different learning styles and help students build confidence through understanding rather than memorization. This foundation has shaped his approach to instruction, communication, and supporting student learning in a consistent and effective way.
As Center Director at Mathnasium, David is focused on creating a structured and encouraging learning environment where students can strengthen their math skills and confidence. He values the center’s proven instructional system and works closely with the instructional team to ensure clarity, consistency, and a positive experience for every student. His goal is to help students build strong number sense, develop problem-solving skills, and feel more confident in their ability to succeed in math.
