Christiane is the Center Director and Owner of Mathnasium of La Mesa South. With over seven years of teaching experience spanning kindergarten through high school, she brings a deep love for math and education to every student interaction. Her background in business supports her leadership in creating a welcoming, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Christiane is passionate about helping students build confidence and truly understand math through personalized instruction. She leads a dedicated team focused on making math make sense while making learning fun and effective.
Allison is an Instructor at Mathnasium of La Mesa South. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University.
Allison is passionate about showing students that math can be fun, inspiring, and relevant to the world around us. She enjoys helping learners see how math connects to real-life structures and inventions. Her goal is to spark curiosity and confidence in every student she teaches.
Gavin is a freshman in college pursuing a degree in Chemistry Pre-med, with plans to gain a Doctorate in the medical field. He has loved math from a young age and became a tutor to share that passion with others in his community.
Gavin is dedicated to helping students discover the joys of math in a supportive and encouraging environment. He believes everyone can learn to love math with the right guidance and approach.
Gus is studying Mathematics with an emphasis in Computer Science at San Diego State University. His enthusiasm for math extends beyond the classroom, influencing his interests in coding, baseball, and music.
As an Instructor at Mathnasium, Gus strives to create a positive and engaging learning experience. He hopes his energy and love for learning help inspire students to embrace math with curiosity and confidence.
Des is pursuing a bachelor’s of science in Physics at Cuyamaca Community College with plans to transfer to UCSD. She tutors physics to her peers at the Cuyamaca tutoring center.
Des enjoys creating an engaging and fun learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. She is a life long learner and wants to foster a passion of learning and curiosity in every student. She believes that anyone can learn any topic with the right guidance and encouragement.
