Sarah is a Public Administration Degree major with specialization in HR and Marketing. She has worked in various companies including staffing, recruiting and consulting business. She also co-owned a recruitment and consulting business previous to joining Mathnasium. She currently co-owns Mathnasium of Garner and Mathnasium of Leadmine. For her teaching has always been rewarding. She is a mother of an elementary, middle and High schooler. She knows the importance of Math and Science with regards to future success of a student. She has always loved volunteering and substituting at her children's school. She loves to spend time with her family and travelling. She looks forward to working in a role that is vital to the future community through being a part of so many young lives and making a difference in their STEM success.
John graduated from NC State University in Bachelors of Computer Science. John has always had an affinity toward math growing up. He is interested in learning anything relating to STEM topics and is amazed by abstract concepts. John has challenged his capabilities by learning Calculus I, II, III, and soon linear algebra. He wants to give children the opportunity to understand math so they can hopefully love it as much as he does.
Jeremy is currently a student at Wake Tech, pursuing an Associate's in Science, and plans on earning a Bachelor's in Mathematics or a scientific field. He has taken Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC, and will soon take Calculus III. He loves seeing the unique ways that students conceptualize math topics, and loves when students achieve that "Ohhhhh!" moment, and everything clicks in their head. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and board games with his friends and family.
Malkaan is currently a student at NC State to pursue career in Computer Science and Astrophysics. She has completed Calculus I-III, AP Statistics, and Physics and Linear Algebra courses at NCSU. Her purpose for working at Mathnasium is to invoke excitement for math in every student. Malkaan's favorite part about teaching math is hearing the students say "I know how to do this!" In her free time, she indulges in books and watches rom-coms.
Joseph is a graduate from NCSU in applied mathematics. He has completed Calculus, Differential Equations (including partial DEs), Linear Algebra, and is now concentrating on probability to study actuarial science (risk analysis). Joseph was homeschooled and learned his love of math early on. He began explaining community college math for fun. His favorite part of teaching is seeing kids be able to figure out a problem purely from previous knowledge, without having it taught explicitly to them. He enjoys video games, philosophy, and running in his free time.
Aryan is currently a student at NC State pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. Aryan has taken Calculus I, II, and III and plans on taking Statistics soon. He enjoys being able to see students through their math journey from when they first start to the point where they can fly through it all by themselves. In his free time, Aryan enjoys photography, video games, and tinkering with his car.
