Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Hey, I’m Rachi! I am a senior at Clear Springs High School and plan on becoming an engineer for race cars. My favorite math concept to teach is solving for x because it’s a mystery inside a math problem! If I had to choose, I would say my favorite number is 13 because I like the superstition that follows the number. I love working with kids at Mathnasium because it gives me joy when I see how much they have learned at the end of each lesson.

Hello! I'm Trinity and I'm currently in my Junior year at Clear Springs High School. I hope to major in psychology at Rice University or at the University of Texas at Austin. My favorite math concept to teach is addition, because even though it's simple, it's the fundamentals of math itself. My favorite number is 7 because 7 ate 9. I love working at Mathnasium because the method that we use to teach the students gives them the independence needed to be successful in learning math in the future! I'm just glad to be helping make math not seem like such a scary subject for students.

Hi! My name is Alexa! I am a senior at Highlands Latin Cottage School. When I graduate, I hope to major in biomedical science or kinesiology. My favorite kind of math is applied math with basic algebra. Using things like the work formula to describe real-life situations mathematically is really awesome! My favorite number is 3, since it's the "magic" number! Things in threes are more satisfying to me, also. I enjoy working with kids and love it when I can play a part in making them more confident in math and themselves!

Hi I'm Pranay! I'm a first year medical student at UTMB and am interested in Oncology and Neurology. My favorite subject to teach is Algebra because I struggled with it a lot when I was learning it and love helping others learn it. My favorite number is 24 because my favorite basketball player wore it. I love working at Mathnasium because I like to see students grow and master concepts that once seemed hard!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
