Dollars & Sense: Financial Literacy for Young Learners

Building financial skills shouldn't wait — that's why we're excited to introduce Mathnasium’s new 10-hour Financial Literacy Program designed specifically for students in grades 4-6 only. This program equips young learners with the tools to make smart money decisions through sessions that make financial concepts accessible and engaging. In each one-hour session, your student will explore:

·      Understanding money, earning, and spending wisely

·      Building strong saving habits and responsible borrowing

·      Developing essential financial skills such as building a budget, determining the best deal, and distinguishing wants from needs

The Financial Literacy Program consists of 10, one-hour sessions held during special extended hours (so as not to interfere with regular sessions and to ensure a focused learning experience):

• 2x a week, 5 weeks: Starts July 14, Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:00pm – 4:00pm
• 1x a week, 10 weeks: Starts July 15, Tuesdays from 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Through this program, students gain the knowledge and confidence they need to become financially responsible, make smart choices, and develop habits that will benefit them for life.
