Starting out as an instructor, my math skills were sharp for the most part. Learning the Mathnasium methods made them even sharper. Once I became a lead instructor, I started seeing all of the effort that goes into each student's experience at Mathnasium. As center director, I am excited to continue that effort for each and every student that walks through our doors (or logs on to our virtual classroom). Favorite Number: 17
I obtained my Associates degree at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. I attended UALR to work on my bachelor’s degree in math. I have tutored college students in the past and love helping students improve their math skills. What is the most inspiring part of your job? Helping students improve their thinking skills. Being there to help students, not just in math if the opportunity comes up. When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a math teacher or tutor, or a missionary when I grew up.
