Hello! We are Patricia Surman and Reiner Krämer, and we are the center owners at Mathnasium of Longmont. Each day, we make it our goal to ensure that students have an effective, engaging and encouraging learning experience that cultivates an intuitive understanding of math. We do this by selecting highly trained instructors who are passionate about math, maintain the best environment for learning and always stay positive. At Mathnasium, we offer the tools to help young learners improve critical math skills and understanding, regardless of their current learning level. We look forward to helping to build a successful future for your child.
Center Director, Serena Stout, prioritizes helping kids build their confidence by building math skills that will last for life.
Caiden is currently in High School. He likes playing guitar, spending time friends, and watching movies. His favorite number is 747. Caiden loves working for Mathnasium because being able to help somebody understand something they previously couldn't is so rewarding to him. He's quoted saying, "it's great to help people change their mindset towards math."
Audrey is a Silver Creek High School student. Her hobbies include; reading, drawing, and hiking. Her favorite number is 2. Audrey's favorite thing about teaching Mathnasium students is seeing how much they're able to grow! "They start off knowing only really simply thing but over time it's amazing how much progress they make."
Zach joins us with experience as a Mathnasium instructor in Illinois. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Computer Science. His hobbies include videogames, playing the guitar, programming and astronomy. Zach's favorite number is 2. He enjoys seeing that moment after something clicks for a student.
Bianca holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California-San Diego. She recently made the move to Colorado and is thrilled to be a part of the Mathnasium team. Her favorite number has always been 17. Her hobbies include; videogames, going to the gym, and more recently has been giving woodworking a try. Most of all she mentioned spending time with her family is her favorite thing to do. She appreciates the "a-ha" moments working with students and changing their relationship with math for the better.
