Her recent move to Longmont provides her the opportunity to continue to work for Mathnasium as well as be a little bit closer to the mountains, which she loves! In her free time she enjoys being in nature hiking, exploring, and spending time with friends and family. Her pride and joy is her sweet Boston Terrier mix, Jovie, which you may meet in the center from time to time!

Kirsten Lotz

Learning Plan Manager
Kirsten received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. She has been helping people with math since childhood starting with guiding one sister through many math homework frustrations and entertaining both sisters with ad-lib stories about "The Adventures of Super Mathematician!" After college, she and her husband worked as programmers at IBM until she became a full-time mom of two boys. Both sons got the math gene, which has led to many nerdy dinner conversations including the ones they now share with their wives. She has spent many volunteer hours at church and at her sons' school where she also did some substitute teaching. Her favorite part of the day was always math time!
