Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Richard Foran

Instructor

Richard holds an MBA in Risk Management from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Manhattan College. With a passion for teaching, he enjoys working with young adults and helping them see how math connects to the world around them. His patient, encouraging approach helps students build understanding and confidence at their own pace.

When he’s not teaching, Richard enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and scuba diving. He is also a dedicated volunteer firefighter and brings the same focus and teamwork from that role to his work with students.

Ben Reuter

Instructor

Ben is an enthusiastic instructor who enjoys helping students discover the logic and creativity behind mathematics. He believes that math is more than just solving problems—it’s a way of thinking that builds confidence and sharpens the mind. Ben strives to make each lesson engaging and tailored to every student’s learning style.

Outside of Mathnasium, Ben enjoys playing sports, exploring new music, and spending time with friends. His goal is to help students reach their full potential and find joy in learning math.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
