Bella is the Center Director at Mathnasium and holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College. Since joining Mathnasium in 2014, she has enjoyed helping children strengthen their math skills. Bella believes that early mastery of math opens doors to countless opportunities in science, technology, and engineering.
She hopes to inspire her students to one day pursue careers in STEM fields. Outside of Mathnasium, Bella enjoys reading, traveling, and playing the piano. She is also the co-author of a Regulatory Chemicals Handbook and a contributing writer for several engineering reference books.
Richard holds an MBA in Risk Management from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Manhattan College. With a passion for teaching, he enjoys working with young adults and helping them see how math connects to the world around them. His patient, encouraging approach helps students build understanding and confidence at their own pace.
When he’s not teaching, Richard enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and scuba diving. He is also a dedicated volunteer firefighter and brings the same focus and teamwork from that role to his work with students.
Ben is an enthusiastic instructor who enjoys helping students discover the logic and creativity behind mathematics. He believes that math is more than just solving problems—it’s a way of thinking that builds confidence and sharpens the mind. Ben strives to make each lesson engaging and tailored to every student’s learning style.
Outside of Mathnasium, Ben enjoys playing sports, exploring new music, and spending time with friends. His goal is to help students reach their full potential and find joy in learning math.
