At Mathnasium, we make math fun - and to that end we provide extra incentives to our students who attend over the Summer through our Summer Bingo activities!
Every year from May to August we provide a chance for students to complete challenges on their bingo boards. Each bingo completed earns students 1 entry into our monthly punch card raffle. At the end of the Summer, students who have completed their Bingo Cards will be entered to win the Grand Prize of $100!!!
1st place - 50 Punch Cards
2nd place - 25 Punch Cards
3rd place - 10 Punch Cards
$100 Cash or Gift Card
Squares in bold on the bingo board can be completed/marked off during a student’s Mathnasium visit
Squares in italics on the bingo board can be completed by parents and students between Mathnasium visits. To ensure these squares are marked as complete - email the center after you’ve completed each action! [email protected]
Squares in both bold and italics on the bingo board can be completed either in the center or at home.
Remaining squares on the bingo board will be updated each week by the center team.
Attend 17x this Summer
Regular attendance is important to keep student’s math skills sharp! We recommend 2-3 sessions per week, but we know summers can get hectic and some weeks that’s not going to be possible. Attendance squares will be updated weekly by our center team, if you’re not sure if that square has been checked off or not parents can email the center, ask during their next consult, or ask an instructor to check during a student’s visit.

Mathnasium bracelets, t-shirts, and more are available for student’s to purchase in the Rewards Cabinet at Mathnasium! Send us a photo of your student wearing their Mathnasium spirit-wear around town by emailing us ([email protected]) or tagging us on Facebook or Instagram!
Students attending @Home should talk to their Center Director about attending a pop-up Rewards Cabinet or dropping by during the day to spend punch cards.

Keep up to date with goings-on in the center and learn some cool math facts by following us on social media! We’re on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Students can let us know that this is complete during their visit.
Write a Thank You note to your favorite instructor(s)
Where would we be without our instruction team? These individuals are passionate about math and education, and they share that passion with students during each and every visit. Students can either drop off their notes at the center or email them to us at [email protected].
Earn a 100 for 100 slip
When we build a student’s binder we include ~6 topics for them to learn, practice, and master during their visits. At the conclusion of each topic is a page called a “Mastery Check.” These pages allow us to gauge whether a student has mastered the topic or needs more practice. Upon completing a Mastery Check (including the Challenge Question) 100% correctly on the first try with no help, students receive a $100/100% or “100 for 100” slip. This slip enters the student into a drawing for $100! Drawings take place semiannually at our Pizza Parties.
Color an Art Day page
Art Day is one of the “Special Days” we celebrate during students’ in-center visits. Special days for @Home students are in the works, but in the meantime we’ve made Art Day coloring pages, KenKen and Sudoku Puzzles, etc. available on the Enrolled Families Page of the microsite. If you’re completing a Special Day Activity at home, let us know! Students can show their instructor during a visit or send a picture of the completed activity to us via email or on social media.
Guardian completes Post-Assessment review
When a student finishes their current learning plan, they take a Post-Assessment. This allows us to evaluate how much they’ve improved and which topics they’ve mastered in recent months - both at Mathnasium and on their own. After a student completes a Post-Assessment, we’ll reach out to their parent/guardian to schedule a consult and go over the results and new learning plan.
Wear your Mathnasium spirit-wear during your visit
Mathnasium bracelets, t-shirts, and more are available for student’s to purchase in the Rewards Cabinet at Mathnasium! Wearing a Mathnasium T-shirt during any visit earns students an extra punch, and on Special Days like T-Shirt Day and Spirit Day it earns students 5 extra punches! Attend 8 times in 1 month

Earn a Mathlete Score 4 slip
At the end of each visit at Mathnasium, students are asked whether they feel they’ve been “safe, respectful, and responsible” during their visit - or if they’ve “been a good Mathlete.” Based on their answer and feedback from their instructor, they receive a Mathlete score between 1 and 4, with 1 signifying a visit that ended early due to misbehavior and 4 signifying that a student went above and beyond during their visit. After completing 1 game plan, or 8 visits in a row, with a Mathlete score of 4, students are awarded a Mathlete Score 4 slip which enters them into a drawing to become Mathlete of the Month for the next month!
Reach my page goal
At the beginning of each visit at Mathnasium, students and instructors work together to set a page goal for the visit. Students are encouraged to look ahead at the pages they’ll be working on that day and set a page goal that is achievable, yet challenging. Reaching their page goal by the end of their visit earns them an extra punch!
Decorate a Flat Ace
Each Summer Flat Ace travels the world with our students, and we’d love to see where they go with you! Student’s can decorate their Flat Ace (or create their own from scratch) and take them on all of their Summer adventures, even if it’s only a trip to the grocery store. Once your Flat Ace is decorated and ready to go, send us a picture by email ([email protected]) or tag us on Facebook or Instagram.
Master a Mastery Check

Every summer we inject a little bit of extra fun into our program by providing time for students to play fun math games! While we’re unable to include game time during each student’s visit this summer, we’re still providing time for fun at our Virtual Game Nights and Virtual Math Nights!

Submit a Flat Ace Picture
Each Summer Flat Ace travels the world with our students, and we’d love to see where they go with you! Student’s can decorate their Flat Ace (or create their own from scratch) and take them on all of their Summer adventures, even if it’s only a trip to the grocery store. Complete a Number Puzzle (KenKen/Sudoku)
KenKen Day and Sudoku Day are some of the “Special Days” we celebrate during students’ in-center visits. Special days for @Home students are in the works, but in the meantime we’ve made Art Day coloring pages, KenKen and Sudoku Puzzles, etc. available on the Enrolled Families Page of the microsite. If you’re completing a Special Day Activity at home, let us know! Send a picture of the completed activity to us via email or on social media.
Have a friend sign up for a Trial Visit
Math is more fun with friends! During the summer we encourage students to bring a friend to share in their Mathnasium experience. Due to limited seating available in-center at the moment, we require the friend’s family to contact us ahead of time for their trial visit - and they may not be able to attend at the same time as the student who referred them. We know that takes away from a little bit of the fun, but if that friend registers then you may be able to work with their parents to schedule visits at the same time in the future!
Tell your Instructor about a famous mathematician!
There are so many well-known mathematicians in the world - from the ones we hear about all the time like Einstein and Pythagoras, to modern-day mathematicians like Terence Tao. To mark off this square, during their visit students can tell their instructor a fun fact about any mathematician!
Skip count 12 times by the grade you’re entering
This can be done during a student’s Mathnasium visit, either in-center or online! At the beginning or end of the visit, students should let their instructor know that they want to complete this bingo square.
Complete Summer Goals Worksheet
The Summer Goals Worksheet is a tool that helps us set goals for the Summer that will help your student catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math! All families are encouraged to fill this sheet out with their student, and then email it to us or schedule a consult so we can discuss appropriate goals for the student.
Read a Mathy Book
Math shouldn’t be exclusive to the classroom and learning center! Students and parents can spend time reading together or students can read their mathy book on their own! We have a list of recommended books here or you can find your own. During a visit, students should let us know what book they ended up reading and how they liked it!
Tell us your favorite thing about Mathnasium
We want to know what our students love about Mathnasium! Students can have their parents send us an email, or they can bring us a note during their in-center visits to let us know what their favorite thing is about their visits.
Complete your Post Assessment
