Katelyn brings creativity and warmth to Mathnasium with her background in psychology and French from St. Thomas University. Formerly active with kids’ programs at the Ridgedale Library, she now helps students grow in confidence and enjoy math.
She loves the everyday usefulness of math, especially in crafts, baking, and shopping, and enjoys journaling, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, and crafting in her free time.
Ron Bennett
Instructor
Ron holds degrees in Math and Chemistry from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He’sworked as a chemist, programmer, and engineer for companies like Medtronic and Boston Scientific, where math was essential.
Today, Ron runs his own photography business and captures everything from nature to portraits. He loves helping students experience those “aha” moments when math suddenly makes sense.
Bobby Tarnowski
Center Owner
Bobby holds a B.A. in Mathematics from St. John’s University and studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of St. Thomas. He believes a strong understanding of math helps students make better life choices and pursue their goals with confidence.
Throughout his engineering and management career, math has played a central role—and continues to be a key part of his business and family life. Bobby is passionate about helping kids connect math to what matters most to them.

Center Director
Beverly grew up in Mankato, MN, and holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University. Her background includes years with Sylvan Learning Centers in TX, CO, and MN, helping students build confidence and skills in math.
She loves making learning fun and helping kids discover how math supports critical thinking and life skills. Outside of work, Beverly enjoys hiking, puzzles, cooking, reading, and travel.
