Claire brings warmth, energy, and dedication to her role at Mathnasium. She holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and has experience working with both children and adults in a variety of educational settings. In addition to tutoring, she supports center operations and community outreach, always aiming to enhance the student learning experience.
Claire believes in fostering a supportive and adaptive learning environment that helps students feel confident and motivated. Her cooperative approach aligns closely with the Mathnasium Method™, making her a valuable part of the team.
Erik is a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student at Lafayette College with a strong interest in STEM and design. He enjoys breaking down complex math concepts and helping students connect them to real-world applications.
His background in engineering and hands-on problem solving brings a creative perspective to his instruction. Erik is passionate about helping students gain a deeper understanding of math and build lasting confidence in their skills.
Niko Plum Cuba is a college student who loves math and loves to help kids learn and understand new concepts, while still being able to provide a fun and productive learning environment. He has worked with children for years in several capacities, and brings his expertise to Team Mathnasium
Roosevelt is a dedicated instructor who is passionate about helping students strengthen their math foundations and grow in confidence. He brings enthusiasm and care to each session, creating a supportive learning environment for every student.
He especially enjoys those “aha!” moments when a concept clicks, and he works hard to make math feel less intimidating and more rewarding. Roosevelt believes that with the right support, every student can succeed in math.
Kaitochi is a dedicated and enthusiastic instructor who enjoys helping students build confidence and a strong understanding of math. With a solid background in various areas of mathematics, Kai creates a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.
Kai brings both knowledge and patience to every session, working closely with students to break down concepts in ways that make sense. He is passionate about helping each student reach their full potential and develop a lasting appreciation for math.
Layla is committed to making math make sense for every student by using the Mathnasium Method™, which focuses on building number sense, boosting problem-solving skills, and fostering confidence. Whether working with young learners or advanced students.
Vivian is currently studying Mathematics, Computer Science, and Quantum Physics at The University of Arizona. Her love for Math comes from her background as a musician, such as the similarities fractions like beats in a measure. She played jazz trumpet for 6 years and now is a singer-songwriter on guitar. Her dream is to become a professor, expanding the knowledge of the human species through scientific research. She values Mathnasium as an opportunity to expand her teaching skills while encouraging young minds to find the beauty in mathematics.
Sharae is a passionate middle school math teacher with over five years of classroom and tutoring experience. She specializes in helping students build strong foundations, develop lasting problem-solving strategies, and grow in confidence.
At Mathnasium, Sharae creates a welcoming and engaging space for students to learn at their own pace. She loves seeing students thrive as they discover that math can be fun, understandable, and empowering.
