Andrew C.

Andrew C.

Center Director
Andrew graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelors in mechanical engineering. An interest in teaching led to him joining Mathnasium in 2019, starting off as an instructor before moving on to lead our Mathnasium@Home program, then becoming an assistant center director and finally, the center director of Marana. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing video games, spending time with friends and photographing trains. Something you'd be surprised to know? He has a giant LEGO collection!

Amelia

Instructor
Amelia is currently attending the University of Arizona studying Biosystems Engineering. In her free time she enjoys hiking and going on adventures. Something on her bucket list? Sky diving! Her favorite movie is 'A Cinderella Story'.

Brenda

Instructor
Brenda come to Mathnasium after having taught Math for over twenty five years! She has a bachelors degree in Math Education from the University of Arizona. When not working part time at her church or Mathnasium, she likes to read Jane Austen (and watch movies based on her books!). Her favorite trip? It's actually 'trips' and it is when she gets to San Diego to visit her son who is in the Navy.

Maisey

Instructor
Maisey is finishing up her Associates Degree in Business Administration at Pima Community College. After that she'll be embarking on her bachelor's in accounting at the University of Arizona! She enjoys going on hikes, playing tennis and cooking delicious dishes at home.

Xi

Instructor
Xi is a graduate of the University of Arizona, holding a degree in Applied Math. Some of his hobbies include cooking food at home and going to the gym. He also intends on returning to the UofA to obtain his Master's Degree! Tutoring comes naturally to him--he used to be a tutor in China!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
