I am the new Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of Martinez, and I am currently an undergraduate student studying Electrical Engineering at City College of San Francisco. Coming from a background where I consistently struggled with schoolwork, I understand how frustrating and overwhelming learning can feel for students. After years of working through my own challenges, I learned how to overcome those struggles and now excel in college-level math and engineering courses. Before joining the team at Mathnasium, I tutored at another learning center and also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Guest Lecturer in my college’s Computer Science department. With this background, I hope to help students overcome the challenges they may face, build confidence in their abilities, and learn not only to succeed in math, but to enjoy it as I do now.
