I have a strong passion for mathematics, physics, and helping others build confidence in learning. I enjoy working with students and creating a calm, supportive, and engaging environment where they feel encouraged to explore and grow.
I have experience developing training and curriculum systems in educational and inventory settings, and I bring strong communication and organizational skills to my teaching. I also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, which has strengthened my focus, patience, and awareness, qualities I apply when working with students.
I’m a middle school math teacher who loves math because it’s logical, creative, and full of “aha” moments. I love teaching because I enjoy helping students build confidence and realize they’re capable of more than they think. I have experience teaching a range of middle school and high school–level math, including accelerated courses, and I focus on helping students truly understand concepts, not just memorize steps. I make math approachable and engaging by breaking ideas into clear, manageable pieces, using visuals and real-world connections, and encouraging questions.
I have developed a strong appreciation for math because it challenges me to think critically and solve problems. In the past, I disliked math, but this was mainly due to a lack of understanding. Once I had the right teacher and developed a better mindset, I realized I wanted to help others who struggle in the same way.
I gained some informal teaching experience while babysitting, where I helped children with homework and basic concepts. In the future, I would make math more engaging by connecting it to real-life examples or turning it into games that students can relate to. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where math feels less like a chore and more like an enjoyable challenge.
I’m passionate about helping students understand math and build confidence in their abilities, just as I did throughout my own education. Over time, I’ve come to value breaking down complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps, making challenging topics easier to understand. This approach not only strengthens problem-solving skills but also prepares students for success in higher education and real-world situations.
I have experience teaching college-level Math, Physics, and Chemistry, where strong problem-solving and conceptual understanding are essential. My teaching style emphasizes patience, clear explanations, and hands-on practice, creating a supportive environment where students can grow and develop confidence in their skills.
I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and support. I prioritize understanding over memorization and encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn in a safe, comfortable space.
Parents can trust that I am dedicated, reliable, and committed to helping each student reach their full academic potential.
I am an elementary math tutor dedicated to helping students build a strong foundation in mathematical concepts. I focus on developing true understanding rather than memorization by using clear explanations, real-life connections, and step-by-step problem solving. My goal is to increase each student’s confidence and math ability while fostering a lifelong love of learning.
